RNI Hospitality Leadership

Mark Phillips - Mark Phillips, Principal of RNI Hospitality, brings over 35 years of commercial construction experience and more than 20 years dedicated specifically to the hospitality industry. Prior to the establishment of RNI Hospitality in 1998, Mr. Phillips was responsible for the management of construction and renovations of major hotel brands. During the time spent with a well know hospitality contractor, he gained a valuable perspective of the importance of maintaining schedule and budget, as well as establishing a solid logistics plan. He carries an extensive background in interior hotel projects, is very familiar with most hotel brands and has completed projects across the country. Today, Mark utilizes his diverse experience with hospitality construction, renovation and mitigation projects leading RNI Hospitality’s management and project teams.

Jason Phillips - Jason has been involved in project management for the past 5 years. The majority of Jason’s experience is coordinating, monitoring, and managing all phases of the construction process. Jason prides himself on the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot issues in the field. He participates in the estimating process to ensure continuity from estimating through construction.

Renee Phillips - Renee joined RNI Hospitality in 2017. Her position at RNI Hospitality is Administrative Assistant with duties predominately consisting of Accounts Payable, directly assisting our Accounts Receivable Specialist, and maintaining an active subcontractor list across all job sites. She also arranges travel accommodations and assists with financial decisions.

Roberto Lopez - Roberto Lopez started as a sub-contractor in the hotel renovation business with Mark Phillips over 25 years ago and continued in hotel and commercial work throughout his career. He has effectively managed multiple hotel renovations of varying sizes, budgets and schedules. Roberto’s objective is to coordinate sub-contractors and timelines that are satisfactory to ownership. This includes management, communication, and coordination of construction meetings. He arrives on a project from day one and stays until the project is completed to ensure projected timelines are met and ownership is more than satisfied with the final punch items.

Luis Lopez - Luis Lopez started as a sub-contractor in the hotel renovation business with Mark Phillips 24 years ago and continued in hotel and commercial work throughout his career. He has effectively managed multiple hotel renovations of varying sizes, budgets and schedules. Luis’ objective is to coordinate sub-contractors and timelines that are satisfactory to ownership. This includes management, communication, and coordination of construction meetings. He arrives on a project from day one and stays until the project is completed to ensure projected timelines are met and ownership is more than satisfied with the final punch items.

Ashley Young - Ashley Young’s primary responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, contracts, and other administrative work. She is involved in ensuring all sub-contractors are vetted and have all of the correct license’s and insurance turned into us for maximum accountability.

Jacob Phillips - Jacob Phillips’ primary responsibilities include assisting project managers, material handling, and assistant superintendent for smaller projects.

Kyle Spence - Kyle Spence started at RNI Hospitality in 2018. His primary responsibilities include technical support, procurement of materials for jobs, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, permitting, and ensuring our projects run as smoothly as possible by making certain the little details get done in a timely manner.
